Safety and Security for High Holy Days

At Temple Shalom YOUR SAFETY and SECURITY is a top priority.  The following ticket policy for High Holy Day Services outlines security protocols and allows us to provide for the safety of all participants at Temple services to the best of our ability. At this moment, we are planning for in-person services 2022.  We encourage those who wish to participation online via our YouTube and LiveControl.

Temple Shalom will have armed security officers on site for High Holy Day Services.  Each individual adult MUST present a valid ticket to enter services.  Personalized Member Tickets will be mailed to each family in mid-September with the High Holy Days packet. Seating will be limited. All adult attendees must carry identification that may be provided to the Officer on site or Temple Staff if requested.

Children under 16 do not need a ticket and should be accompanied by an adult for entry at the exterior doors.  Children participating in Youth Services will be signed-in by a parent and each child will receive a security bracelet. Advanced registration is required.

Please note: Member tickets are provided for your immediate family living in your home as dependents under age 24. All others will need to request a Guest Ticket—and donations to Temple Shalom for these additional seats is appreciated. Attendance will be limited.

Guests are encouraged to participate ONLINE with us.  Guest tickets will be distributed at the Temple Office September 14 - 16, 2022, or by appointment.  Guest tickets MUST be requested in advance and will be provided if space is  available to those who registered, with a Guest Ticket request form and valid ID.  A ticket will be required of each guest 18+ with their individual name printed on the ticket. Guest tickets must be picked up at the Temple Shalom Office between 9 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2022 and Noon on Friday, September 16, 2022, or by appointment, during office hours. A donation to Temple Shalom is highly encouraged and supports High Holy Day expenses.  When a guest becomes a Temple member, the donation will be applied to membership.

The Cottage, used in the past as a distribution point, is closed.

All adults must present a valid ticket to enter services and provide identification to the Officer on site or Temple Staff if requested.
