9:30 AM - 12:30 PMSukkahSunday in the Sukkah Shake, shake, shake --- shake, shake, shake --- SHAKE the LULAV and the ETROG for Sukkot! Come fulfill the mitzvah of shaking and blessing the lulav and etrog in the Temple Shalom sukkah on Sunday, Oct. 4th Sing some songs with Rabbi Jay, wave to temple staff, teachers and friends! Religious School/Teen Scene students and their parents are invited at the times listed (families with students in multiple grades can choose which session/s to attend). Temple Shalom Members are invited to visit between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. Social distancing will be strictly enforced, masks must be worn and cover mouth and nose at all times while on the property. Hand sanitizer and disposable gloves will be required for any lulav/etrog contact. 6th/7th grade: 9:30 - 10:00 am Nevatim/Kinder/1st grade: 10:00 - 10:30 am 2nd/3rd grade: 10:30 - 11:00 am 4th/5th grade: 11:00 - 11:30 am Teen Scene & Temple Members: 11:30am - 12:30 pm Enter the alleyway by the playroung and park in the parking lot of Temple Shalom for our Sukkot Experience. Exit your car with your masks on(!) and proceed to around the SE corner of the building to the lawn. Be certain to keep 6' distance between you and other family groups. Rabbi Jay will share his Sukkot Lesson and then--one family at a time will be invited into the Sukkah to Shake the Lulav and Etrog, say the blessings, hang up their decorations and exit. There will be a photo-opportunity as you leave the Sukkah and comlete the circle around the building to return to your car. Please note that all participants on our property (outdoors too!) are required to wear a mask. For this entire visit, masks are expected to be worn over both the mouth and nose.
