The Talmud teaches “When the month of Adar arrives, happiness increases.” That is why we can say, “It’s wonderful to be here, it’s certainly a thrill” to start off the week of Purim with Beatles Shabbat. Rabbi Jay Sherwood invites you to a Kabbalat Shabbat service with prayers set to the melodies of Beatles tunes. Bring a Beatles themed dessert to share at the Oneg Shabbat and you could win for best tasting or best decorated dessert!
