the High Holidays to help set-up, usher during services, and
assemble the Sukkah.
Monthly Meeting and Speaker
Join us for our monthly
breakfast meetings with speakers from the community talking on
Jewish topics.
Minyan – 9:00
AM Breakfast – 9:45 AM Presentation – 10:15 AM
Pots 4 Tots
Please support this long running fundraiser! Poker/game night is
held at 7:30 pm on a monthly basis at various member’s homes.
Teddy Bear Drive
Please consider bringing
a new, unwrapped teddy bear for this community project. Proceeds
will benefit the children at Memorial Hospital and through the El
Paso County Sheriff’s department.
Yom Hashoa
The Yellow Candle™ was conceived in 1981 by members of the
Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs at Beth Tzedec in Toronto to help
keep alive the memory of the six million Jews who perished in the
Holocaust. It is modeled after the traditional Jewish memorial
candle that burns for 24 hours during periods of mourning and on
the anniversary of the death of a family member.
And More…
In addition to these programs, please plan on joining us for the
Sons of Israel Cemetery Cleanup Day and our Pot Luck Father’s Day
Picnic.
We need everyone’s support and
ideas! Our goal is to have fun and meet the needs of our members
with activities, learning, and community outreach.
Please watch
here for our 2006-2007 calendar, coming soon!
