Fundraising

PTO needs funds every year to pay for religious school holiday celebrations, teacher gifts, needs of the school as well as long term funding for school ‘wish list’.

The PTO fundraising efforts include:

·         Purim Carnival/Auction

·         Barton’s Passover Candy Sales

·         Sportswear

·         Box Tops

·         PTO Dues

Purim Carnival/Auction:

The PTO’s biggest fund raiser and religious school event is the Purim Carnival to be held on Sunday, March 16th, 2008

A silent auction is held, in conjunction with the carnival.  Items are donated by parents for class baskets, members of the congregation and local community businesses.

If you would like to make a tax deductible donation of any goods or services please contact Vivian Gerson through the Temple  office. Donations are accepted at any time during the school year.

Carnival:

Games, activities crafts and food (including Hamentaschen of course) round out the fun day’s events. Wristbands will be pre-sold at the religious school.

Barton’s Passover Candy Sales:

The Barton Passover Candy sales kicks off before Passover.  This is a great fundraiser -- 40% of the sales proceeds to go to PTO.

Sportswear:

What better way to show Temple Shalom Spirit than to wear Temple Shalom sportswear!

To place an order or for more information contact Troy Kent or Jonathan Persons or the Temple Shalom Office.
