Mission
To sponsor and promote within our synagogue and the community-at-large, a program of Jewish education and cultural activity.
Join Sisterhood for mulit-generational and multicultural programming that includes fabulous lunches, motivating speakers and evening activities. We are a group of women of all ages and varied backgrounds. Our common bond is an interest in programs designed to strengthen and enrich our own Judaism, support our youth and perform mitzvot benefitting the congregation and community.
Sisterhood supports the following Temple Shalom Funds:
Bereavement, Flower, Kiddush, Kitchen, Oneg, Madelyn Osur YES, Roz White Torah and Adele Obodov Youth Scholarship. Also, a large portion of Sisterhood funds benefit Temple Shalom's preschool and religious school and national organizations that support rabbinical education.
